Throwback – Branching out with Manchester office
A LOCAL company is expanding its business to the UK with the official opening of a new office in Manchester last week.
Dunleer based Paycheck Plus now employs eleven people on both sides of the Irish Sea and is looking to up that number in the months ahead.
Clogherhead woman Anne Reilly, founder and Managing Director, is over the moon with the latest good news story for the firm.
‘With more and more Irish companies expanding into the UK and, likewise, UK and other overseas companies opening operations in Ireland, we are finding increasing demand for our services.
‘Our strength is that we understand the legislation in both countries and ensure our clients are compliant with employer obligations and employee entitlements’.
Established nine years ago, Paycheck Plus streamlines the payroll process for companies and their UK clients include Eurolink, Caffe Nero and Ecocem.
The new Manchester office was officially unveiled by Brian Hayes TD, Minister of State for Public Service Reform and the Office of Public Works as part of a Trade Mission to Manchester hosted by Fingal Dublin Chamber and South Dublin Chamber.
Mayor of Manchester, Cllr. Naeem ul Hassan, and representatives from Enterprise Ireland, the Irish Exporters Association, the British Irish Chamber of Commerce and MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment agency.
‘Companies like Paycheck Plus demonstrate the innovation and determination of Irish entrepreneurs. Anne Reilly and her team have taken on global leaders in this sector and are capturing valuable market share. The Paycheck Plus office in Manchester will help them to reach a larger client base, grow the business and create jobs,’ the minister said.
Paycheck Plus has been recognised with a host of awards over the years including Best Exporter 2012 and Best High Growth SME 2012 from Louth Chamber and Anne was selected as the Louth/Meath Network 2012 Businesswoman of the Year.
